THE SMALLEST SIZED MINICOMPUTER HUMAN FINGER


This mini computer is very small, no bigger than the size of human fingers, even more like a USB Flash Drive instead of a PC computer.



Quoted InfoTeknologi from BBC Blogs, game developers celebrated David Braben (makers of the game series Rollercoaster Tycoon, Thrillville, Lost Winds, and Kinectimals) mendomenstrasikan Computer little on the BBC, and claimed the price it takes to make it only for UK £ 15 / U.S. $ 25 (approximately 200 thousand dollars).

This mini computer prices even cheaper than the price of the laptop program OLPC (One Laptop per Child) who sell laptops in the developing world with a price range of U.S. $ 200.

Hardware specifications in this mini-PC powered by the ARM11 700MHz processor, 128MB RAM and runs on OpenGL ES 2.0 mode with an output of 1080 pixels, the SD Card storage space, and resources taken from the 5V pin HDMI.

When connected to a keyboard and monitor, the monitor screen immediately alive and able to run Ubuntu Linux Operating System.

Distribution of "mini computer" David Braben planned Raspberry Pi begins the next 12 months through a non-profit organization Raspberry Pi Foundation and will be distributed with Ubuntu Linux OS.
